I’m convinced Beyoncé is going through something. I don’t know if she’s having a quart-life crisis of if she’s trying to rid herself of all her nice-girl attributes. I tried ignoring her ridiculous performance at the Grammy’s—Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” was not the best look for B. It was less heartfelt artistic statement and more Vegas lounge show at the Golden Nugget during the 5PM buffet. I silently prayed for her after a misguided attempt at downtown chic led her to wear the worse outfit ever at this year’s Coachella (you do get credit for taking a page out of Solange’s book and trying something new). Fine. But this latest shenanigan is just wrong on so many levels. If the reports are true, Beyoncé just crossed the line.
A hand tattoo Beyoncé? A hand tattoo that says BROOKLYN? I mean, really? When it comes to tattoos, it’s the universal rule that once you tattoo your hand, neck or face, you’ve changed the game. B, you married a man from Brooklyn—you didn’t grow up in the Marcy projects.
