Nexus One UK Release Date: Friday 30th April – Pre-Orders Now Available on Vodafone!

We have long anticipated an official UK launch date of the Google Nexus One after it was release in the US back in January.  After four excruciating long months we are excited to tell you that the phone has finally arrived in the UK!

Vodafone have announced that they are already taking pre-orders for the phone and will be officially releasing the phone from the 30th of April.

Unlike what happened in the US, where Google only offered the sale of the phone over their dedicated website, it would appear that they are bypassing this route in the UK and are going to allow Vodafone to start taking pre-orders as well as allowing them to sell the phone in stores and over the phone come the 30th of April.

Also, if you remember back to when the Nexus One was originally released in the US when Nexus One users were experiencing 3G connectivity problems and lack of customer support because everything was done directly through Google. Well, it would seem that Google may have learnt from their mistakes and have taken a different approach by directing users to Vodafone as the primary contact for any support issues.
