Chris Brown Haiti Earthquake Benefit Concert “Virginia Stand Up” May 15

Chris Brown will headline and host a Haitian earthquake benefit concert in his native Virginia next month.

The R&B singer has signed on to headline the “Virginia Stand Up! A Call To Action” concert at Virginia Commonwealth University on May 15, MTV News said Monday. The show will raise funds to benefit the Greater Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross for its Haiti relief efforts. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross and the Central Virginia Foodbank.

“I wanted to find a way to contribute personally to the ongoing Haitian relief effort and also support an organization that helps people in need in my home state,” Brown said in a statement.

Performers will include Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, T-Pain, Mario and Ryan Leslie, according to The Associated Press.
