It would appear that after the announcement of the iPhone 4.0 update last week, the developers have been having a field day researching what could be included in the much rumoured iPhone 4G, set to be released this summer. Two of the most interesting features were video conferencing and camera flash.
After hours of excruciating digging, developers have found various references in the 4.0 SDK to video conferencing, shown in the screen shot above, which is something we had already speculated a couple of months back.
As well as this, evidence from TUAW identified that in the iPhone 4.0 SDK there were hints of ‘AVCaptureDevicePositionFront’ and ‘AVCaptureFlashModeOn/Off/auto’ which could possibly mean a better camera (good news for those camera enthusiasts) as well as a camera flash.
Now, I know we have already speculated about these features for months so it isn’t surprising news to us, however now we have evidence to suggest that the line between rumour and truth is moving closer. What more will the developers reveal? We’ll keep you posted as and when we get more information.
