The correctional officers on New York’s notorious Rikers Island have given rapper Lil Wayne a task to keep the Young Money CEO busy while he serves the next 12 months in jail on gun charges: Weezy is officially in charge of making sure his fellow inmates don’t kill themselves!
“Wayne has a job — they got him on suicide watch for other prisoners,” Wayne’s ex-wife, Tiny & Toya star Toya Johnson Carter, dished to Us Weekly Magazine on Wednesday. “He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don’t kill the themselves. He likes the job even though they don’t pay him much.”
Toya assures fans that Wayne is “doing OK” and “getting along with everybody.”
