Plotting his moves carefully since his recent release from prison (he served a year and a day for federal weapons charges), T.I. has now started speaking about his clothing brand AKOO.
“I’m really proud of the [upcoming] spring/summer collection because it represents my relaxed sense of style, not trying too hard, just finding what works for you and making it work with your swag,” he said in a press release from The Chambers Group, AKOO’s publicity firm.
The new line from AKOO (standing for “A King Of Oneself”) features warm weather staples like shorts (both cargo and plaid), plus wovens and cardigans, all in understated colors like olive green, navy blue and scarlet red.
“The cargo pants [pictured above] are my favorite items from the S/S collection because they go with everything,” Tip said. “You can dress them up or down, for those hot summer days.”
AKOO’s new collection will available on DrJays.com in coming weeks.
