I blame this on Uggs! The super comfy boot first originated in Australia and was first worn by World War I pilots for warmth in unpressurized planes. They then became popular among competitive swimmers and surfers in the 1960’s-1970’s who used it to keep their feet warm while out of water. But once it hit the US and celeb’s like Cameron Diaz got their twinkle toes in a pair, it became a global phenomenon! The style of boot has been duplicated by brands like Bearpaws, Bare Traps and even Skechers! But one thing none of these ever did was reinvent the style.
Australia Luxe Collective have took it upon themselves to add a leather upper panel, now turning it into more of a thigh-high boot. Umm..? Not really feeling these, but what do you guys think of the thigh-high Ugg boot? Would you wear it?
