You’d think so, right? Well, Yeezy and Skateboard P teamed up with Louis Vuitton. British DJ and producer Mark Ronson joined forces with Gucci. So it’s pretty much only right that Swizz Beatz partners up with Christian Louboutin to continue the producers-who-team-up-with-high-end-fashion-brands trend.
The picture above with Swizz and Christian showcasing a then-unknown sneaker was floating around the net about a year ago, and had people guessing what fashion venture the two could be working on. Late last year, we found out the kicks were indeed prototypes of the Christian Louboutin–studded “Louis” Sneakers. The $1200 shoes were released as a part of Christian Louboutin’s debut of the brand’s men’s collection for Fall/Winter 2009.
In 2010, the two are creating more of the studded gear—jackets, to be exact. Both camps are staying mum as of recent, but we did manage to get a hold of some flicks.
