I remember the days when computer games came on three, 3.5″ floppy disks. Hell, these days computers don’t even have to have a floppy drive!

Ok, so those of us with a love of JRPGs have simply upgraded from three floppy disks to three compact disks, but I must admit a slight pang of nostalgia when I first saw Disk-it’s, a (sadly concept only) design from Burak Kaynak. Simple concept – post it notes shaped like 3.5″ floppys.

I tend to get through a lot of post-it notes with varied work instructions ranging from ‘Contact x’ to ‘Don’t thump colleague who whistles all the time’ so I’d get bored of staring at a sea of yellow. At least the retro feel of these post-it notes would make me feel I’m old enough to be approaching retirement age…

Oh hang on, I just got it. Post-it, Disk-it… wow I’m going to find a gadget to stop me being blonde without dying my hair…
