GoodWoodNYC Gives T-Pain A Run For His Bling

Musician (and blogger) Esthero recently had this custom chain made by GoodWoodNYC.

Talk about a statement maker! I know T-Pain laid his $400,000 “Big Ass Chain” to rest, but he deserves this mockery.

The Brooklyn-based GoodWoodNYC brand is known for its innovative custom-made wooden jewelry and accessories.

You can cop rings in light or dark wood, pendants made of various exotic woods like zebrawood, lacewood, birch and more.

All designs are hand sanded, painted and lasered.

GoodWoodNYC just joined forces with Universal Motown and ThinkTank Marketing for a special venture to commemorate the release of Erykah Badu’s new album, New Amerykah Part 2: Return of the Ankh. Fans will have the opportunity to win a custom “Erykah Badu Ankh” jewelry piece (seen in the below image), designed exclusively by the masterminds of GoodWoodNYC.

The custom light-wood ankh measures slightly over two inches and hangs from a 30-inch long, beaded, dark-wood chain. Only 50 of these custom pieces were created for special online giveaways and will not be available for retail sale. More details to come!
