Kelis Accused Of Skipping Out On Weave Bill

On Monday, a judge in Southern California granted a default judgment against Kelis in a lawsuit that accused the “Acapella” singer of failing to pick up the tab for a hair weave.

The suit claimed Kelis — who receives about $55,000 in monthly alimony payments from soon-to-be ex-hubby Nas — got a high-end weave at a salon in Santa Monica last May, but never paid the $5,000 bill. According to TMZ.com, the stylist showed up for the trial Monday morning, but Kelis was MIA. Therefore, the judge entered a default judgment against the star for the full amount.
