Attention, Wal-Mart Shoppers: A 16-year-old New Jersey boy, who allegedly made a announcement: “Attention, Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now” at a Wal-Mart in Washington Township, New Jersey last week, was arrested Friday and released to his parents.

The teen, whose name is not being released because of his age, is accused of picking up one of the courtesy phones and making the racist announcement that caused outrage among Wal-Mart customers and made national headlines March 14.
He was charged with harassment and bias intimidation, and released to his parents.
“We have updated our intercom system at this store to prevent this from happening again. We again apologize to all of our customers and associates who had to listen to something so offensive,” Wal-Mart spokesman David Tovar said Monday.
